Volleyball: Both teams lost to Momence last night on 8th Grade Night. Thanks to all 13 eighth grade players for your commitment to our program! Now finish the season strong! Today: 7th Grade Practice from 1:30-3:15 pm. (you will stay after school) 8th grade practice from 3:30-5:00 pm (you will go home after school). No 6th Grade practice tonight.
Track: There was an informational meeting today during Exploratory. If you missed the meeting, please see Coach Boyd or Coach Cabrera for any info that you may have missed.
Wrestling: Practice from 4:00-6:00 pm tonight.
Cheer: Shelby: please turn in your cheer uniform to Mr. Kimmel ASAP!

Scholastic Bowl: Sorry about the confusion with practice this week. Today, Wednesday, we have practice from 3:45-5. You will have to leave and then come back since it’s an early out. Thursday there is practice after school, and put it on your radar that SATURDAY morning from 8:30-10 there will be practice. And there will be donuts. First match is coming up February 27 against Tri-Point!
Baseball Sign-Ups: Late sign ups (extra $20) will be accepted through February 25.

Jostens Order (8th Grade): Attentional All 8th Graders: Turn in your Jostens 2028 order forms into the main office by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd in the envelope with your cash / check. All clothing items are adult sizes and in school colors. This is a one time offer for these clothing items. If you have questions, contact Troy Hall at troy.hall@jostens.com.
GES Carnival: The IW Carnival is on MARCH 1st. If you are helping to set up please come to the High School Gym at 4pm. If you are helping with other activities (games, face painting, bingo, pop walk, bake sale) please arrive at 5:30pm.
IWMS Campus Life: Don’t forget that this meets every Monday, at the Garage, from 6:30 to 8PM.
Art Club: 7th grade will meet every Tuesday in February after school until 4:30pm, next one is TUESDAY Feb. 27 . Even if you haven’t been able to attend so far this year, you are welcome to join in this month.

Fact of the Day: Dr. Suess was challenged by his publisher to write a book using just 50 words. The result was the book Green Eggs & Ham. Dr. Suess not only won the bet but he also wrote an entertaining children’s book using just 253 words.
