Cross Country: At the Cow Chip Classic on Friday, Gretchen Willms placed 15th out of 76 girls with a time of 14:39 and Sophia Tammen had a time of 18:41. School Picture Day: Today! Classes will start being called down after the staff pictures are finished.
Fact of the Day: The first photo, taken of a person, occurred accidentally in 1828. The photographer, Louis Daguerre, was photographing a street in Paris and the man captured was getting his shoes polished. Because he was standing still, the image of the man was captured on the photo paper. The first digital camera was produced in 1975 but it weighed a little over 2 pounds and was run with cassette tapes.
