Cross Country: Last night’s meet was rained out. Practice today from 4:30-5:30 pm at IWHS.
Girls’ Basketball: Practice from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. 13 players still need to have their parents register on 8to18!
Cheerleading: The sign up sheet is in the office hallway . Try-out practices will begin TONIGHT: from 5:45 – 7:30 pm. Keyai, and Mireya: you each need to turn in a sports physical before you are able to practice tonight!
Fact of the Day: All US presidents, after George Washington, had to pay for their own meals. This lesson was learned by Congress in which Washington demanded no salary but asked for his meals to be paid for. At the end of Washington’s term, Congress was shocked at a food and drink tab of well over hundreds of thousands of dollars. Needless to say, this trend ended with Washington.
