Baseball: Nice comeback last night, but we fell a little short against PBL 8-6. No practice today. Next game: Tuesday September 7 at Nash. 4:30 pm.
Cross Country: Meet today at the Chrisman Cow Chip Invite. 4:00 pm. Bus 1:30 pm from the HS. Bring water, Gatorade, and snacks for the longer bus ride!
Girls’ Basketball: Practice already happened this morning! Next practice: Tuesday September 7 4:00 – 5:30 pm!
Cheerleading: The sign up sheet is in the office hallway . Try-out practices will begin Wednesday September 8 from 5:45 – 7:30 pm. The cheerleaders perform for home middle school boys basketball games and some tournaments. You will need a current physical to begin practice!
School Picture Day: Please note that school pictures will occur on Tuesday (September 7) when we return to school. I will send out a Skylert on Monday evening to help you remember.
Class Wars: The 7th grade jumps out to an early lead with two first place wins in yesterday’s class wars. 6th grade took home two seconds, while 8th grade got two thirds. Remember, Locker Rocker points are awarded to the entire class for each quarter based on your final class war standings!
Drill Day: Please note that today we will be running through the following drills: Bus Evacuation, Fire Drill, Severe Weather Drill, and an Intruder Drill. Please follow the instructions of your teachers / bus drivers to help you during these drills. Your cooperation and assistance will be greatly appreciated!!!
