Fact of the Day:   Today, wish the 7th graders well as they take the Constitution.  Here are some facts about that document…The US Constitution has 4400 words, the shortest document that runs a nation in the world.  There are multiple spelling errors in the document, the worst being the botched spelling of Pennsylvania.  Since 1952, all four pages are on display in the national archives and protected in hermetically sealed glass and kept at 67 degrees F.  Thomas Jefferson could not attend the Constitutional Convention because he was in France.  John Adams was in the UK, working as an ambassador.  Patrick Henry was invited to be a delegate for Virginia but declined stating, “I smell a rat.”  It took the convention 100 days to debate, write, and finish the Constitutional Convention.

Happy Birthday:  Happy Birthday to Mrs. Maisonneuve TODAY!!!  Wish her well!!!
