Scholastic Bowl: The Raiders went 1-3 last night in the Iroquois County Tournament, while Cissna Park claimed the championship. Logan Wagner answered the most toss ups correctly for IWMS and he was named to the All County team along with Wes Connor and Aimee Ochoa. Congrats! Tonight: Practice from 3:30-4:30 pm!

After a lot of debate, scientists are now saying that the primary cause of Coke & Mentos geysers is a physical reaction, not a chemical reaction. Their explanation is a process called nucleation. All the carbon dioxide in the soda – all that fizz – is squeezed into the liquid and looking for a way out.
