Track: Great job last night at Fisher! The 8th grade boys team took 1st place, while the 8th grade girls and 7th grade boys both took second. Special congratulations go out to Phylicity Leonard, who set a new IWMS 8th grade girls’ record with a 30’ 10.5” shot put throw! This broke a 2007 record set by Jessica Schroeder! There is no practice today. Practice will resume tomorrow from 3:30-5:00 pm.
Scholastic Bowl: Iroquois County Tournament at Cissna Park. Bus Time: 3:15 Participants will be dismissed from 5th hour at 3:10 pm. Good luck in tonight’s tournament!
Testing for Math IAR: Please remember that we will be testing for IAR in Math these next three days. This will be conducted in your math class. Also, please remember that 4th & 5th Hours are swapped. Fact of the Day: UCONN defeated Purdue last night to become back to back champions in men’s basketball. UCONNs repeat has not been achieved since 2007 when Jokim Noah led the Florida Gators to back to back titles. In the ladies bracket, South Carolina defeated Iowa.
