Scholastic Bowl: Both the Varsity and JV won our Scholastic Bowl matches at Donovan last night. JV won 230-30 and Varsity brought home a win with a score of 160-50. Congrats! TONIGHT: No practice.
Student Council: Through Wednesday March 6th Student Council will be accepting donations to bring to Salt and Light. A list of approved and non approved items can be found on the student council bulletin board.

GES Carnival: The IW Carnival is on FRIDAY MARCH 1st. If you are helping to set up please come to the High School Gym at 4pm. If you are helping with other activities (games, face painting, bingo, pop walk, bake sale) please arrive at 5:30pm.

Fact of the Day: Instead, they chose the name “Arby’s”, based on R. B., the initials of Raffel Brothers. The Raffel brothers opened the first new restaurant in Boardman, Ohio, just outside Youngstown, on July 23, 1964. They initially served only roast beef sandwiches, potato chips, and soft drinks.
