Volleyball: Tonight: 8th grade practice from 3:30-5:15 pm. 7th Grade team: you may return your jerseys to Mr. Kimmel as soon as possible!
HS GBB/HS GVB Meeting: There was a meeting this morning for any 8th grade girls that are interested in playing HS GVB or HS GBB next year. If you missed the meeting, please see Mr. Kimmel for any missed information.
Wrestling: Practice from 4:00-6:00 pm tonight for Sectional Qualifiers and wrestling partners.
Scholastic Bowl: Varsity and JV match tonight at Donovan. The match begins at 4:00 pm and the bus time is 3:00 pm. Members will be dismissed at 2:55 pm from 5th hour class. Please meet Mrs. Wagner in the gym lobby.
Student Council: Through March 6th Student Council will be accepting donations to bring to Salt and Light. A list of approved and non approved items can be found on the student council bulletin board.
PE: Bring your chromebooks to class this week.
GES Carnival: The IW Carnival is on FRIDAY MARCH 1st. If you are helping to set up please come to the High School Gym at 4pm. If you are helping with other activities (games, face painting, bingo, pop walk, bake sale) please arrive at 5:30pm.
IWMS Campus Life: Don’t forget that this meets every Monday at the Garage, from 6:30 to 8PM.
Art Club: 6th grade Art Club will begin meeting in March (Tuesday March 5). Even if you haven’t been able to attend so far this year, you are welcome to join in this month.

Fact of the Day: Leap Days are needed to keep our calendar lined up with the Earth’s revolutions around the sun. It takes the Earth approximately 365.242 days or 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 45 seconds – to circle the sun. This is called a tropical year. Without an extra day on February 29 every four years we would lose almost six hours every year. After only 100 years, our calendar would be off by approximately 24 days. Happy Leap Year!!!
