Volleyball: The 8th grade team lost last night to Nash in the Iroquois County Tournament. Today: 7th and 8th Grade Games at St. Anne today at 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Bus time is 3:10 pm Players will be dismissed from 5th hour at 3:10 pm. 6th Grade: No Practice tonight.
Wrestling: Meet at Prairie Central tonight at 5:00 pm. IW Wrestlers will be picked up by the Nash bus at 3:30 pm today, so please wait in the gym lobby after school.
Boys’ BB: All players need to return washed uniforms, practice jerseys, and warm-ups to Coach Boyd or Coach Kimmel. We need these by the end of the week! Thanks to all of you who have already turned them in!
Cheer: Your end of the season pizza party will be Monday February 12 from 5:30-6:30 pm in the multipurpose room. Please bring your uniform to turn in that evening!
Math Contest: Congratulations to Coach Frank and the 6th grade IWMS math team on taking first place in the small school division of the Momence Math Contest last night. Coach Cabrera and the 7th grade team brought home second, while Coach Keigher and the 8th grade team took third place! Well done IWMS math team!
Scholastic Bowl:
Student Council: Bring in pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald house. We will accept tabs through Feb 9th. Winning class gets ice cream and this counts for one of Raider Recipe goals for 3Q!
Student council will be selling bundles you can send to your friends for Valentine’s Day. Each bundle will consist of a mini stuffed animal, a drink, and candy bar. They are $3. Please pick up an order form in the office. Forms are due Thursday, February 8th.
They are also selling during lunch tomorrow. $2 for candy, and $1 for pop.
Permission slips for our Volunteer day are due Friday. They need to be turned in to Miss Cabera whether you plan to attend or not.
IWMS Campus Life:
Art Club: 7th grade will meet every Tuesday in February after school until 4:30pm, first one is TOMORROW Feb. 6 . Even if you haven’t been able to attend so far this year, you are welcome to join in this month.
Bowling Opportunity: On Saturday, February 10th from 4-6pm, any 6th-8th graders have an opportunity for free bowling, food, and prizes at the Lucky Lanes in Iroquois, IL. Mr. Ehmen has fliers if you are interested!!!

The trophy stands 20 3/4 inches tall, weighs 6.7 pounds and is valued more than $25,000. The words “Vince Lombardi” and “Super Bowl LIV” are engraved on the base along with the NFL shield.
