Scholastic Bowl:  The varsity team beat Tri-Point last night 95-90 but fell to Cissna Park 45-180 last night in the Twin County Conference Tournament at Cissna Park.   No Practice Tonight.  
Cheerleading: There will be a meeting with Coach Makenna Pankey on Tuesday April 26 from 8:30-8:50 am in the GYM for 6th and 7th graders interested in participating in cheerleading NEXT YEAR!   Please plan to attend this meeting during Advisory if you are considering being part of the team! 
Track:   Tonight we will compete in the Nash Relays at Clifton (Nash Middle School)   The meet starts at 4:00 pm and the bus will leave at 2:45 pm.   Athletes will be dismissed from class around 2:40 pm.  Good Luck Raiders! 
Student Council: Please bring in your pop tabs! Continue to bring in pop tabs to reach your goal of 2 pounds and earn some backyard games!   6th grade is now in the lead with 4 pounds, 14 oz!
On Friday, April 22nd we will be holding a spring dance from 6:30-8:30pm. The cost is $5 to attend ($3 for student council members). Pizza, soda, and candy will be available to purchase. Please note that you may not have your cell phone out in the gym and you must be passing all classes to attend. 

Jazz Band: Reminder for next week that jazz band will meet on Tuesday and Friday next week! Contest is next Friday so be working on your music!

8th Grade Math Team: Tomorrow morning, Friday, we will have 8 8th graders traveling to St. John’s to compete in the Iroquois County Math Competition. Our Mathletes are: CJ Murray, John Netzband, Leah Honeycutt, Aubrey Chandler, Tyler Schmidt, Riley Martinez, Oli Ochoa, and Joel Arechiga. Please congratulate them and wish them luck!
