Scholastic Bowl:  No Practice Tonight 
Cheerleading: There will be a meeting with Coach Makenna Pankey on Tuesday April 26 from 8:30-8:50 am in the GYM for 6th and 7th graders interested in participating in cheerleading NEXT YEAR!   Please plan to attend this meeting during Advisory if you are considering being part of the team! 
Track:   Nice job at the Nash Relays last night.  We are still awaiting the final results from Nash.     Tonight: No Track Practice    
Student Council: Please bring in your pop tabs! Continue to bring in pop tabs to reach your goal of 2 pounds and earn some backyard games!   6th grade is now in the lead with 4 pounds, 14 oz!
TONIGHT we will be holding a spring dance from 6:30-8:30pm. The cost is $5 to attend ($3 for student council members). Pizza, soda, and candy will be available to purchase. Please note that you may not have your cell phone out in the gym and you must be passing all classes to attend.   Doors will open at 6:30 pm! 

Jazz Band: Reminder for next week that jazz band will meet on Tuesday and Friday next week! Contest is next Friday so be working on your music!

Music: Next Friday, April 29th is our Organizational contest. Notes will be going home today with final details. Stop by and see Mrs.Pendry if you are not in a music class to get a paper to bring home.  We will be leaving school at 3:00pm. Your parents may sign you out once the concert band finishes at 6:15pm. Jazz band students will need to stay until after their performance which is scheduled for 7:30pm. Dress is white shirt, black pants, and black shoes. You MUST be eligible to attend contest. This is part of your 4th quarter assessment so be aware of the expectations. 

8th Grade Math Team:  Today we will have eight 8th graders traveling to St. John’s to compete in the Iroquois County Math Competition. Our Mathletes are: CJ Murray, John Netzband, Leah Honeycutt, Aubrey Chandler, Tyler Schmidt, Riley Martinez, Oli Ochoa, and Joel Arechiga. Please congratulate them and wish them luck!
