Valentine’s Day: This year, the Student Council is selling mini stuffed animals so you can buy one for a friend! See your Advisory, choir, or band teacher for the form. Turn in your form to Mrs. Sawinski by Tuesday, February 9!
Sports for Wednesday: Cheerleading: Practice from 2:00 – 3:30 pm Volleyball: Practice from 5:15 – 6:45 pm. Uniforms will be handed out at 6:45 Boys’ Basketball: Practice from 3:30 – 5:00 pm
Scholastic Bowl: If you missed yesterday’s meeting and are still interested in joining, please see Ms. Karner in room 338 to get your study materials and schedule. The next practice for Scholastic Bowl will be tomorrow (Thursday) from 3:30-4:30 in Ms. Karner’s room.

Fact of the Day: A single bolt of lightning is five times hotter than the surface of the sun. That is why when lightning strikes sand, it has been known to immediately turn to glass. At any rate, 50,000 degrees fahrenheit and moving at the speed of light causes some serious damage…and THUNDER!!!
