Boys’ Baseball: Congrats to the Raiders on running their win streak to 4 with a 11-5 win over Momence. Alvarez and Gregory did the pitching for West, while Andrade and Ontiveros led the Raider offense. Tonight there is hitting practice. Group 1 3:45-4:45 pm and Group 2 4:45-5:45 pm

Hispanic Heritage Month: The Social Studies department will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by decorating the bulletin board in the main hallway. If you want to be featured on the bulletin board, please bring a family picture that displays your Hispanic heritage! You can bring your picture to your Social Studies teacher.
Fact of the Day: Pluto is technically not even a year old. Pluto was discovered on February 18th, 1930. It is the farthest (dwarf) planet from the Sun, requiring it to go a much farther distance than we are used to on Earth. It takes 248 Earth-years for Pluto to complete one rotation of its own around the sun. This places Pluto’s first birthday since its discovery on Monday, March 23, 2178.
