Hispanic Heritage Month: The Social Studies department will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by decorating the bulletin board in the main hallway. If you want to be featured on the bulletin board, please bring a family picture that displays your Hispanic heritage! You can bring your picture to your Social Studies teacher.
Fact of the Day: Cotton candy was invented by a dentist. William Morrison partnered with John C. Wharton to invent the airy confection. It is not known if Morrison had an ulterior motive to ensure return dental visits but what is known is that the name changed from Fairy Floss to cotton candy and we all love it!!! Flossing would become more popular if we could floss with cotton candy!!!
