Volleyball: 8th grade practice after school this evening. Pizza party for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams will be on Wednesday, March 11 at 5:30 pm in the IWMS Cafeteria.
Wrestling: Congrats to all the Wrestlers who were champions in the regionals on Saturday. Congrats to Francisco Sandoval, Hunter Hull, and Christian Gaytan. With a 2nd Place Finish was Noah Gomez. 3rd Place Finishers were William Schoon, Izzy Alvarez, and Jake Kocher. Overall, the wrestlers won the regional on Saturday. These wrestlers move on to the sectional meet on Saturday.
Scholastic Bowl: Our Scholastic Bowl team will travel to Donovan today to take on the Bobcats. Bus time is 3:10. Match time is 4PM. Best of luck!!!
Track: For those students who plan to participate in track, please have your contract and survey turned in to Coach Thiele or Mr. Boyd by Thursday March 5.
Student Council: The next meeting is TOMORROW!!!
Spring Dance: On Friday, March 13, we will host the Spring Dance here at IWMS. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the cost for admission will be $5.00. We will also have concessions available. The dance will last until 8:30pm. Please note: If you have a library fine that is due, you need to have that paid in order to be able to attend the dance. Thank you!!!
IWES Carnival: The IWES Carnival is Friday March 13 from 6:00-8:00pm. If you would like to help run a game or face paint, please pick up a volunteer form from Ms. Sawinski. Volunteer forms need to be turned in as soon as possible.
Freshman Shoe Drive: The IW Freshman class is conducting a shoe collection drive from March 1 to April 30. Simply donate worn, used or new shoes. You can leave your donation in the box in the main office here at IWMS.
Art Club: 6th grade art club will meet next Wednesday until 4:30pm.
Homework Club: Continues tonight in Mrs. Carley’s Room
8th grade D.C. trip: The final payment for the 2020 trip is due Wednesday, March 18. We still have spots available! It’s not too late to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Miss Reynolds.
