Student Council: Next week is Red Ribbon Week, so it’s time to start decorating the hallways! Mrs. Sawinski has Thursday and Friday shifts. Please sign up on Google Classroom, and let Mrs. Sawinski know if you can donate any decorations!

Art Club: 8th grade art club will meet TODAY after school till 4:30pm.
Halloween at IWMS: For this year, we will allow students to wear a costume at IWMS to assist with fundraising. If you are wanting to wear a costume to school, you must: A.) abide by the following rules: 1.) NO masks 2.) NO gore 3.) NO weapons may accompany or accessorize the costume 4.) The IWMS School Dress Code Applies (NO racy or raunchy costumes will be permitted B.) pay $5 to participate.
Raider Reward: Don’t forget that Friday, we will host our Raider Run. You will find out tomorrow if you qualified for the Raider Reward in Advisory. Also, do not forget that on Friday, we will have a Science Department Race…who will win? You will get a chance to wager a bet.
Fact of the Day: Carotene, which turns leaves orange, is the same chemical that turns carrots orange. The switch in trees that activates them to drop their leaves has been determined to be the shorter days and lack of light.
