Student Council: Next week is Red Ribbon Week, so it’s time to start decorating the hallways! Mrs. Sawinski has Thursday and Friday shifts. Please sign up on Google Classroom, and let Mrs. Sawinski know if you can donate any decorations!
Cheerleading: No practice today.
Music: Tonight is our Fall Concert here at IWMS. Both the middle school and high school bands and choirs will perform. The concert will begin at 7PM and call times for the choir is 6:15 and band is 6:30. Good luck, tonight, music department!!!
PE: All PE classes need to bring your Chromebook and meet in the cafeteria today.
Raider Run/Walk: Information for the annual Gilman Women’s Club Turkey Trot are down in the information center by the cafeteria. If interested, pick up a form today!!!
Art Club: 8th grade art club will meet TOMORROW after school till 4:30pm.
Halloween at IWMS: For this year, we will allow students to wear a costume at IWMS to assist with fundraising. If you are wanting to wear a costume to school, you must: A.) abide by the following rules: 1.) NO masks 2.) NO gore 3.) NO weapons may accompany or accessorize the costume 4.) The IWMS School Dress Code Applies (NO racy or raunchy costumes will be permitted B.) pay $5 to participate.

Fact of the Day: Leaves on trees eventually turn brown due to a substance called tannin. Tannin is used in the tanning of animal skins and is what makes tea turn its dark color.
