Wrestling:  Congrats to Garron Perzee…4th in state.  Thanks to Hunter Hull and Noah Gomez for representing IW at state this weekend!!!

Track & Field:  All track athletes need to report to track this evening till 5:15 pm.  

Chess Club:  Chess club will meet tomorrow in Mr. Torbeck’s room after school until 4:15.  Rides should be here for pickup by 4:15. Thank you!!!

PE: 7th grade bring your Chromebooks to PE today. 6th grade bring your Life Education poster rough draft to class today.

STEM NIGHT:  Our science department will host a STEM night this evening.  The doors will open at 5:30 pm and it will be hosted in the gym.  Parents and students will be able to learn about our curriculum and also our STEM exploratories.  There will be raffle prizes and some light refreshments. We hope you and your parents attend STEM night!!!

DC 2020:  Any 7th grader who is interested in attending the Washington DC 2020 Trip, there is an informational meeting at 6PM in the library on Wednesday, March 13.  For any questions, please see Mrs. Davis.

Scholastic Bowl: Be sure to bring in your shirt money before our match today. Scholastic Bowl is getting dismissed at 3:05 pm.  

Multipurpose Room Closure:  The multipurpose room where all students eat is currently closed till further notice.  Students are not allowed to go into the multipurpose room. For lunch, please go to the gym and wait for further instructions.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Hoods:  Students, you are very welcome to wear hoodies here at IWMS.  However, you are not allowed to wear your hood. Wearing it halfway or a quarter of the way is still wearing a hood.  Please do not wear your hoods in the building. Thanks for your cooperation.

Art Club: 6th grade art club meets tomorrow until 4:30 pm!

Homework Club:  In library this week

Music: The HS Music Department will be showing Seussical the musical this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:00 each evening. Student and senior tickets are $6 and adult tickets are $8. They can be purchased at the door or ahead of time at Prospect Bank or Cornerstone Cafe.

Help at Carnival:  The IWES Carnival is Friday, March 29 from 6-8pm.  If you would like to help volunteer by running a game or face painting please see Mrs. Carley for a form.  All Volunteer forms need to be turned into Mrs. Carley this Friday (March 15th). This is a great way to get a “Raider GIve Back”.

Library Fines:  Remember, if you have a library fine, you need to pay that fine immediately!!!  .

Fact of the Day: Despite his Irish notoriety, Saint Patrick was actually British. He was born to Roman parents in Scotland or Wales in the late fourth century.  He was the man responsible for spreading Christianity to Ireland.
