Wrestling:   Congratulations to Garron Perzee for placing 4th at the State Meet in the 145 pound class!  Also, congratulations to Hunter Hull and Noah Gomez for making it to State, and to all 3 wrestlers on outstanding seasons!

Chess Club:  Chess club will meet today in Mr. Torbeck’s room after school till 4:15.  Rides should be here for pickup by 4:15. Thank you!!!

PE: 7th graders need to bring something to write with for IKAN.

STEM NIGHT:  Our science department will host a STEM night tomorrow evening.  The doors will open at 5:30pm and it will be hosted in the gym. Parents and students will be able to learn about our curriculum and also our STEM exploratories.  There will be raffle prizes and some light refreshments. We hope you and your parents attend STEM night!!!

DC 2020:  Any 7th grader who is interested in attending the Washington DC 2020 Trip, there is an informational meeting at 6 PM in the library on Wednesday, March 13.  For any questions, please see Mrs. Davis.

Student Council: If you missed the student council meeting this morning, please check the Google classroom for the announcement.

Scholastic Bowl: Be sure to bring in your shirt money before our match tomorrow, otherwise you will not be going. We have practice today after school!

Campus Life:  Campus Life Will be from 6-8 instead of 6:30 to 8:30 because we are having a movie night watching Wonder, as we wrap up our curriculum on Choose Kindness!

Art Club: 6th grade art club meets Wednesday until 4:30 pm 

Music: The HS Music Department will be showing Seussical the musical this coming Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7:00 each evening. Student and senior tickets are $6 and adult tickets are $8. They can be purchased at the door or ahead of time at Prospect Bank or Cornerstone Cafe.

Help at Carnival:  The IWES Carnival is Friday, March 29 from 6-8 pm.  If you would like to help volunteer by running a game or face painting please see Mrs. Carley for a form.  This is a great way to get a “Raider Give Back”.

Library Fines:  Remember, if you have a library fine, you need to pay that fine immediately!!!  .

Fact of the Day:  Saint Patrick himself would have to deal with pinching on his feast day. His color was “Saint Patrick’s blue,” a light shade. The color green only became associated with the big day after it was linked to the Irish independence movement in the late 18th century.
