Volleyball: There was morning practice today for 7/8. Tonight there is 6th grade practice from 5:15 to 7:00 pm.
Wrestling: The team finished in third place at the Shelbyville Invite on Saturday, going 3-1 on the day. Practice tonight from 4:00-6:00 pm
Boys’ BB: 8th Grade practice tonight from 3:30-5:00 pm
Dodgeball/ Raider Recipe: Today is the Raider Recipe Dodgeball event. It will take place during PE classes for those that qualified! All students will report to PE class for attendance at the beginning of the period. If you didn’t qualify, you will go to the library for Health/PE class.
Scholastic Bowl: Parent approval slips are due Friday Feb. 2nd. If you haven’t gotten one from Mrs. Wagner yet, stop by her room anytime.
Student Council: Bring in pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald house. We will accept tabs through Feb 9th. Winning class gets ice cream and this is a Raider Recipe challenge for 3Q!
Student council will be selling bundles you can send to your friends for Valentine’s Day. Each bundle will consist of a mini stuffed animal, a drink, and candy bar. They are $3. Please pick up an order form in the office. Forms are due Thursday, February 8th.
Raider Recipe 3Q Goals: 1. 0 Detentions or Suspensions 2. 3 or less absences 3. 3 or less tardies 4. Grades of C of better in all classes 5. Attend a home GVB game or participate in the Pop Tab Student Council Challenge! Must achieve at least 3 out of 5 to Qualify!
Boys Volleyball Intramural Sign-ups are in the multi purpose room. Please sign up by Monday, even if you do not have a complete team. Girls who would like to help ref, please sign up as well. Games will begin the week of February 26th. More information will come soon.

Art Club: 8th grade art club will meet TOMORROW JAN 30 after school until 4:30pm. Even if you haven’t been able to attend so far this year, you are welcome to join in this month.
Bowling Opportunity: On Saturday, February 10th from 4-6pm, any 6th-8th graders have an opportunity for free bowling, food, and prizes at the Lucky Lanes in Iroquois, IL. Mr. Ehmen has fliers if you are interested!!!
