Announcements:  Thursday January 11, 2023        

Dodgeball/Raider Recipe:  This event has been moved from Tuesday Jan. 16 to Friday Jan. 19 during PE classes due to a scheduling conflict.  

Volleyball:   7th and 8th Grade games at Fisher tonight starting at 5:00 pm.   The bus time is 3:35 pm and players will stay after school.  

Cheer:   None

Boys’ BB:  The 7th grade team lost to Watseka last night in their County Tournament, while the 8th grade defeated Nash to advance to Friday’s County Championship game.  Tonight:  7th and 8th Practice from 3:30-5:15 pm tonight at IWMS.   There will be 6th grade practice from 5:30-7:00 pm.  

Wrestling:   Home Meet at Nash tonight Vs. GCMS and Kankakee at 4:30.   IW Wrestlers will be dismissed from 5th hour class at 2:55 pm.  Please get any fifth hour assignments when you leave. 

Student Council: Student council is taking applicants for the second semester. If you are interested in joining, please see Miss Cabrera for an application. Applications will be due Friday. Next all member meeting will be Wednesday, January 17th. 

Locker Rocker Bowling Trip:   Remember to turn in your permission slips and money by the end of today!      

Scholastic Bowl:   There is a signup sheet in the lunchroom for any student who is interested in participating in Scholastic Bowl.   Please sign up by Friday and see Mrs. Wagner if you have any questions!

Art Club:   8th grade art club meets next Tuesday after school until 4:30pm. Every Tuesday in January is for 8th grade. Even if you haven’t been able to attend so far this year, you are welcome to join in this month.
