Bowling Against Bullying: Sunday February 19 at Concord Bowl in Iroquois, IL for 6th through 12th graders. The event will run from 4:00-6:00 pm and includes free bowling and food! There will be prizes too!
Fact of the Day: The first official Valentine’s Day, took place in Paris in 1400. The first record of a Valentine being delivered was through a poem written by Charles, the Duke of Orleans. In 1415, he was imprisoned in the Tower of London and wrote to his wife, whom he referred to as “Valentine,” who was back in France. This day is very important for the greeting card company, Hallmark, as 145 million cards, on average, are purchased prior to today.
