| Student Council: Pennies for pizza starts today until Feb 8th. The grade that brings in the most amount of money ( over $50) will receive pizza. For every dollar you bring in, a chain will be hung in your hallway to show your progress. Money raised will go to benefit the students. |

Chess Club: Please be advised that Chess Club will be after-school on Wednesday evenings. Students will meet after school till 4:30. Students will need to coordinate their own rides for pick-ups. The first Chess Club meeting will be on January 25th. If you are interested, please return a signed permission slip. There will also be a virtual club set up, as well. It is illegal to eat a frog that died in a jumping contest in California. In Georgia, you are forbidden to keep an ice cream cone in your back pocket on Sundays. If you have one arm, in Iowa, you are not allowed to charge for your piano playing. And in Maine, you are currently breaking the law if you have your Christmas lights up after January 14.
