Boys’ Basketball:  7th and 8th Grade practice today from 3:30-5:15 pm.   6th grade:  No Practice 
Cross Country:  We still need your uniform Constantine!  ASAP!  
Cheerleading:  No Practice
Girls’ Basketball:  Congratulations to our 7th grade team for bringing home 3rd place in the TCC Tourney with a win over Cissna Park!   Well done ladies!   Tonight:  Practice from 5:30-7:00 pm.   
Student Council: Next Friday, November 4th is the Fall Dance. You MUST be passing all core classes to attend. Tomorrow an eligibility check will be run for the dance next Friday. 

Art Club:  NextTuesday, November 1st, will be the first art club for 7th grade.  Please get a permission slip from Mr. Snowden or Mrs. Sattler. 

Turkey Trot:  The 11th annual 5K Raider Run/Walk for West to benefit Iroquois West Schools will happen on Saturday, November 12.  If you are interested in this event, there are details in the office.  

Raider Run:  Prizes earned from the Raider Run will be distributed at lunch on Friday!

Red Ribbon Week:  TOMORROW:   (10/28): Pay $2 to wear your costume, or wear Red.  Teachers please email Miss Cabrera with students who dressed up during the first hour. :  

Fact of the Day:   Mark Twain was born in 1835, a year in which Halley’s comet was visible from Earth. In 1909, he said, “I came in with Halley’s comet…and I expect to go out with it.” When he died on April 21, 1910, the comet was again visible in the night sky.
