Fact of the Day: There are many myths to the start of April Fools. Some say it began in 1563 when Europe switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar. People who were slow to adopt this switch had paper fish placed on their backs (known as April Fish) to insinuate that they were gullible. When the person realized they had the fish on their back, the group would yell, “April Fools.”
