Fact of the Day: Did you know that Marco Polo is not just a pool game? Marco Polo traveled east from Italy with his family to China in 1271 with the hopes to establish trade routes. The biggest issue with the voyage was time. Polo traveled nearly 24 years in his voyage. The stories and the riches that Polo brought back (one of them being noodles) sparked interest and two centuries later, the Age of Exploration began searching for water routes to the East.
