Baseball:     Washed uniforms can be turned into Mr. Kimmel today!  12 players still need to do this!
Girls’ Basketball: Both the 7th and 8th grade girls lost to Ridgeview last night.  Today there was morning practice, so enjoy your afternoon at home today!  Thanks to Grant Frisbie for live streaming the games on Facebook Live!  
Cross Country:  No practice tonight.    Meet on Monday at Limestone.  
Cheerleading:  No practice tonight.  
Boys’ Basketball:  Last day to sign-up is today.  Practices will start on Monday October 18.   
After-school Art Club: 8th grade art club starts Tuesday, October 5. Permission slips can be found in the cafeteria or Mrs. Sattler’s room.  
Student Council: The votes are in!! President: Leah Honeycutt; Vice President: Drew Talbert; Secretary: Elizabeth Izquierdo.  

Raider Rowdies:   If you were at last night’s home games for any part of the game, please report to the lunch room at this time.  

Monday:  Remember that we return to a regular length school day!   School will end at 3:18 instead of 1:18 pm.  

Yearbooks:  If you ordered a yearbook, please make sure that you check in with the office, during passing period or after school, to pick it up.  Thanks!!!

Fact of the Day:  Here are some wacky state laws.  In Alabama, you cannot chain your pet alligator to a fire hydrant.  In Alaska, it is illegal to wake a slumbering bear to gain a photo opp.  In California, it is illegal to ride your bike in a swimming pool.  In Arkansas, it is illegal to pronounce the state as Ar-Kansas.  And, in Blythe County, California, you are not allowed to wear cowboy boots unless you own two cows.
