Summer In the Park: Summer in the Park begins Monday, June 14th. Registration Packets are available in the office.
Yearbooks: If you would like a yearbook, they are $14. Please get order forms turned in by the end of the school year on May 27. The deadline was extended, so don’ t miss this chance!
Summer Sports Camps: Flyers are available in the lunchroom for Boys’ Basketball Camp, Girls’ Basketball Camp, and Soccer Camp run by our IW Coaching Staffs! Please pick one up at lunch if you plan to attend! The deadline for GBB camp is today!
Library: Please note that all library books should’ve been turned in! If any are left out there, turn them in!
Fact of the Day: In the 1870’s, the Frisbie pie company began making pie tins to not only hold their pies but to keep them warm. By the 1940’s, on college campuses in Connecticut, students were throwing these pie tins all around campus and named them Pluto Platters. However, in 1957, Walter Morrison brought his plastic disc to the toy company Wham-O and the Frisbee was born. Morrison would go on to invent disc golf and other Frisbee related games. In 2010, when Walter passed away, his ashes were molded with plastic and he is forever interred in a Frisbee.
