Football Meeting: There will be a football meeting from 1:45 – 2:00 pm in the lunchroom on Friday for any 8th grader that is interested in playing HS football in the fall. Please attend if you are considering it!
Locker Rocker/ Raider Recipe: Will both be held this Thursday May 20! If you qualify for the Raider Recipe, you will get to play Dodgeball during your PE time and there will be some candy prize drawings throughout your class. If you don’t qualify, you will have regular PE class outside with Ms. Milkowski. If you qualify for the Locker Rocker Reward you will get a ticket for an item from the ice cream truck that will be visiting the school during the lunch hours! Grades will be checked on Wednesday for both of these events.
7th graders: Last Friday, you received a planning sheet for 2 of the challenges you’ll face on Friday. Try to have your plan complete before Friday!
HS Cheer: 8th Graders: The High School is having a Cheer Clinic on Wednesday May 25 from 2:30-3:30 at the HS. Cheer Cheer Try-Outs will then be the next day (Thursday May 26) from 2:30-3:00 at the HS.
Yearbooks: If you would like a yearbook, they are $14. Please get order forms turned in by the end of the school year on May 27. The deadline was extended.
Summer Sports Camps: Flyers are available in the lunchroom for Boys’ Basketball Camp, Girls’ Basketball Camp, and Soccer Camp run by our IW Coaching Staffs! Please pick one up at lunch if you plan to attend! Deadlines are coming up soon.

Fact of the Day: On this day in history, Mount St. Helens erupted, killing 57 people. The eruption triggered a 5.1 magnitude earthquake that triggered a massive collapse of the north face of the mountain, creating the largest-known avalanche in recorded history. The pyroclastic flow of lava flattened vegetation and towns for 250 square miles.
