Pennies for Patients: Talk to your Advisory teacher about setting up your online store so you can collect donations online! Over the next few days, focus on asking family members and friends who live far away to donate online.  Remember, if we reach the $150 mark as a school, Ms. Karner, Mrs. Sawinski, Mr. Lustfeldt, Mr. Kimmel, Mr. Emerson, and myself have volunteered to let the Student Council officers hairspray our hair blue!  You can also fulfill a Raider Recipe qualification by donating a $1.00 or more of spare change to your classroom bag!

Locker Rocker Reward:   Yesterday, at lunch, permission slips were handed out to students who qualified for next Friday’s Locker Rocker Movie at Onarga Theatre!    Please have your parents/guardians sign the permission slip and return it to the office ASAP so you can attend!

Homework Club:   Homework club next Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00-3:00 pm with Mrs. Carley!

Water Bottles:  Please remember to pick these up on your way to class in the morning or on the way to class from PE.  You can avoid unnecessary tardies this way!

Fact of the Day:  Here are some weird and wacky laws for your enjoyment:

In North Dakota, it is illegal to wear a hat while dancing.  Persons convicted of felonies cannot host or operate Bingo games in Pennsylvania.  In South Carolina, a person must be 18 years of age or older to play pinball.  Make sure you do not carry wire cutters in your pocket if you are in Texas.  In Vermont, women must have written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth.  And, in Washington state, you cannot use X-Ray machines to fit your shoes…do not even think about it.
