Volleyball: The pizza party for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams will be on Wednesday, March 11 at 5:30 pm in the IWMS Cafeteria. 

Wrestling:  Congratulations to the following Raiders who competed and will advance to the state finals on Friday and Saturday.  Noah Gomez came in 1st. Francisco Sandoval and Hunter Hull came in 2nd and Jake Kocher qualified as an alternate. Congratulations, gentlemen and best of luck at the state series!!!

Scholastic Bowl:  We have a match tomorrow against PBL. Bus time is 3:10, don’t forget your uniform and snack for the bus!

Track: Practice after school till 5.  

Student Council: Please remember to turn in your templates to Mrs. Sawinski by the end of the day.

Spring Dance:  On Friday, March 13, we will host the Spring Dance here at IWMS.  The doors will open at 6:30pm and the cost for admission will be $5.00.  We will also have concessions available. The dance will last until 8:30pm.  Please note: If you have a library fine that is due, you need to have that paid in order to be able to attend the dance.  Thank you!!!

IWES Carnival:  The IWES Carnival is Friday March 13 from 6:00-8:00pm.  If you would like to help run a game or face paint, please pick up a volunteer form from Ms. Sawinski.  Volunteer forms need to be turned in as soon as possible. 

Freshman Shoe Drive:  The IW Freshman class is conducting a shoe collection drive from March 1 to April 30.  Simply donate worn, used or new shoes. You can leave your donation in the box in the main office here at IWMS.   

Art Club: 6th grade art club will meet TOMORROW until 4:30pm.

Homework Club:  Continues tonight in Mrs. Carley’s Room.

PE: Bring your chromebook to class today.

6th Grade Science:  If you are in Mr. T’s class, please bring your colored pencils or markers to class today.  

8th grade D.C. trip: The final payment for the 2020 trip is due Wednesday, March 18. We still have spots available! It’s not too late to sign up. If you have any questions, please contact Miss Reynolds.

Fact of the Day:  On this day in 1876, Alexander Graham Bell was working in his lab and made the first telephone call to his assistant, Watson.  From a few rooms away, he picked up the receiver and spoke into a speaker, “Watson, come here, I need you.” From then on, he would go to perfect his invention and the rest is history!!!

IWHS Spring Musical: Once Upon a Mattress will be performed at IWHS March 19, 20, and 21 at 7:00 pm. Come support the fine arts program!
