Boys’ Basketball: Tomorrow, the boys’ basketball team will take on PBL at Paxton. The tip is set for 5:30. The bus will leave at 4:25.
Wrestling: Tomorrow, the Wrestling Raiders will compete against GCMS in Clifton. The meet is scheduled for 4:30.
Geo Bee: Get your last minute studying in before your competition next Tuesday. Information will be handed out soon for the night of the competition.
Scholastic Bowl: There will be a short informational meeting on Thursday Jan 9 after school in Ms. Karner’s room until 4pm. Please plan to attend and if you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time! Don’t forget to grab the informational packet in the office.
Student Council: Previously, it was announced that your next meeting would be held on January 10. However, this date is being pushed back. Your next StuCo meetin will be held on January 17 at 7:45 in Mrs. Sawinski’s room!
Youth Basketball: Don’t forget that forms for Youth Basketball (any 6th grader) are due on Friday, January 24 to the office. We will get these to Coach Arie.
Fact of the Day: Today, Elvis Presley would have been 85 years old. In 1954, Elvis began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records label in Memphis. In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor. By 1956, he was an international sensation. Even after his death in 1977, his songs can be heard all over the world.
