Wednesday, September 11

Pledge of Allegiance / At this time, we will reserve our moment of silence for 18 seconds, one second for each year that has passed since the horrible tragedy that took place on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.  Each second is also a remembrance for the nearly 3,000 men, women, and uniformed personnel who perished that day. Please join me in 18 seconds of Silence.

Boys’ Baseball:  Practice after school till 5:45.  Tomorrow, the Raiders will travel to Forrest to take on the Hawks of Prairie Central.  Bus time is 2:40 and players will be dismissed at 2:30. Good luck, tomorrow, Raiders!!!

Early Release:  Students, we will be releasing at 1:18 today due to the heat.  Please note that we are on the early release schedule!!!

Raider Responsibility:  Ladies and gentlemen, please remember that you have a big job each and every day.  That job is to bring a charged Chromebook to school, every day. If you forget your Chromebook at home or fail to bring it charged, you are not prepared for school.  Please come prepared to school each day so you do not miss out!!!

Thought of the Day:  Remembering 9-11 is a great way to pay our respects to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.  With history, if we do not remember it, we are condemned to repeat it. We are so fortunate to have so many committed members in uniform who are willing to risk their lives for our safety.

Happy Birthday: Happy Birthday today to Alvyn Zermeno!!!

LUNCH FOR TODAY: Meatloaf, corn, strawberries, dinner roll, yogurt, and milk

Thursday: Chicken patty on bun, broccoli, peaches, goldfish, and milk
