Track & Field:  Today is the Iroquois County track meet.  The meet is set for 3PM at Watseka. The bus will depart at 1:45 so please dismiss all track participants at 1:40.  Good Luck, today, Raiders!!!

Cheer: If you are interested in trying out for middle school cheerleading, signups are on the office door. Practice dates will be May 13, 15, and 16 and tryouts will be on May 21st from 3:30 – 5:00.  You must have a current physical on file in the office prior to tryouts.

Soccer Camp:  If you are interested in signing up for the Iroquois West Youth Soccer Camp, there are forms in the information center.  Camp dates are June 17- June 20 from 1PM-3PM. Application deadlines are Monday, May 20. Cost is $35.

Band/Choir:  The Spring Concert is set for this Thursday, May 9th at 7 PM.  Both the middle school band and chorus will perform along with the music department from the Upper Elementary. Congratulations to all the students who performed at Solo/Ensemble and Organizational contest Saturday. Many students earned Division I scores! Congrats to these Best of Day performers: Band-Jaylee Copas and Alyssa Clark; and Choir-Savannah Reed and Summer Matthews! Here are the results for the large ensembles: Concert Choir-Division I, Treble Choir-Division II, 7th/8th Grade Band-Division II, 6th Grade Band-Division I, and Jazz Band-Division I.

Spelling Champion:  Congratulations to our own Nolan Manske who is the top speller in Iroquois County.  Nolan spelled the word, deceitful, to become the county spelling champion. Congratulations, Nolan!!!

Homework Club:  Tuesday & Thursday this week from 3:20-4:20 pm.

Library Fines:  Remember, if you have a library fine, you need to pay that fine immediately!!!
