Girls’ Basketball: No Practice
Boys’ Basketball: The 6th and 7th grade boys had AM practice today. No 8th grade boys basketball practice today.
Red Ribbon Week Themes: Next week, we will host Red Ribbon Week at our school. Here are the dress up themes that you may participate in for our building:
Monday, October 29: “Oh the Places You Went!” (Wear a T-Shirt from a place you have traveled)
Tuesday, October 30: On Vacation Day! (Dress for a vacation! Hawaiian shirts, vests or mittens…just make it school appropriate and have fun)
Wednesday, October 31: Travel to the Future Day (Dress for the job you want for the future)
Thursday, November 1: Red Day (Wear as much read as you can)
Friday, November 2: Raider Day (Break out the Raider Gear)
Halloween Dance: There will be a Halloween Dance put on by the DC kids at the Garage Youth Center in Gilman tomorrow evening. The dance for the middle schoolers will be held from 8PM-10PM. There will be a $3 admission to attend.
PE: 8th grade bring a writing utensil to class with you.
Music: Drumming rehearsals next week will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. each day.
Schedule: Today, we will be rewarding those who successfully completed 4/7 requirements on the Raider Recipe of Success. We will host a Raider Run. All qualifiers will be able to participate in this event instead of attending 5th Hour. If you walk/run 3 complete laps you will get a Tootsie Pop, 5 laps nets you a granola bar, 8 laps will land you a Gatorade and 15 laps will win you a brand new Raider T-Shirt!!! You may bring a coat/hoodie/jacket and plan on having some fun with a Raider Run!!!
