Cross Country:  Cross country’s season came to an end on Saturday.  Thanks to all runners who participated and thanks for all your time, sweat, and determination.  Remember that real champions are made in the off season and best of luck to all runner’s next year.  

Girls’ Basketball:  Practice from 3:45-5:00 PM.  

Boys’ Basketball:  Open Gym will be hosted tomorrow (Oct. 11) from 4-5 PM.

Cheerleading:  Wednesday: practice TODAY from 5:15-7:15

Student Council: Student council members, we have to switch our meeting to this THURSDAY, October 11 at 7:45 am. Please have your speeches ready for your officer positions.

Art Club: 8th grade art club will meet TODAY after school until 4:30pm.

Science:  All 6th grade science students please bring your composition notebook to Mr. T’s class today.  

Music: Fall Concert is Sunday at 3PM.  

Fact of the Day:  Insects make up the largest biomass on the planet.  At any one time, there are approximately 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 (10 quintillion) bugs alive and roaming on Earth.  If you take the ecosystem of a small pond, it is approximated that 100,000 bugs are spawned and most die within one day.  Take for instance the common house fly, they only live between 20 and 28 days.
