A BIG shout out to the student body who attended the Veteran’s Day program and showed respect to our Veteran’s! The Veteran’s felt appreciated and honored for their service!
Students, if you signed up to donate blood, the blood drive is this coming Wednesday. Make sure to bring a photo ID, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring your permission slip if you are 16 years old. Reminder to staff and students – Students will be escorted to the blood drive by NHS members and should not leave class on their own.
Math Team members – Our competition is this Wednesday the16th! The bus will leave at 3:45 with or without you. Please bring money for dinner. See Miss Fischer or Mrs. Lachtara with any questions. Continue to practice using the materials posted on Google Classroom.
Congratulations to Damian Alvarado for being the top qualifier at this year’s 5K Raider Run/Walk for West. Damian braved the freezing temperatures and finished the 3.1 miles in 21 minutes and 12 seconds!
Any student interested in participating in Scholastic Bowl this year should attend the informational meeting this Wednesday during homeroom. Check in with your homeroom teacher and then head to the library!
Rifle Club pictures will be Wednesday November 16th at 6:30 pm for all shifts. Wednesday’s first shift will be practice as usual until it is time for pictures. Sweatshirt orders are also due November 16th. Thank you.
Fact of the day-Queen Elizabeth II was a trained mechanic. When she was 16, the Queen joined the British employment agency at the Labour Exchange and learned the basics of truck repair. Apparently, she can repair tires and repair engines.
