There will be a FCCLA field trip information meeting on Thursday 9/22 during homeroom in the FACS room

Students interested in Rifle Club can pick up an application in the office. Applications are due back to the office by October 7th.

Jostens will be here today, Sept. 21 during lunch for you to turn orders in.

Guest the Shredded challenged book. There will be one staff prize winner and one student prize winner. You can enter to win in the library and Ms King will pull a winner for each prize on Friday and Ms King will contact the winners on Monday. If you have any questions contact Ms King.

Do you need service hours? Looking for a volunteer opportunity? The Gilman Woman’s Club is looking for high school students to help at this year’s Father/Daughter Dance on September 24. If you are interested, see Ms. Eighner. 

Fact of the day-  In 1834, Dr. John Cooke Bennet added tomatoes to ketchup. Previously, ketchup had been a concoction of fish or mushrooms. By adding tomatoes he claimed the new concoction could cure indigestion and other digestive woes.
