Announcements 9-14-2022

Students, homecoming is this week and if you are planning to go attend

the dance you MUST have your iou’s paid. You will not be able to buy

tickets if you have any IOU’s.  Please check your account if you have any iou’s or come to the office to check your balance. Deadline to pay them off is tomorrow Thursday 9/15 no extensions! 

If you are bringing a date from another school or already graduated we will need a copy of their Drivers License or ID.

Students interested in Rifle Club can pick up an application in the office. Applications are due back to the office by October 7th.

Students please be respectful of the time, hard work, and money that went into the hallway decorations.

Homecoming dance tickets will be on sale during both lunches this week. Make sure to sign up and pay before Friday if you plan to attend. You will not be allowed to pay at the door!

Seniors there are cap and gown packets in the office.

The Iroquois West girls golf team participated in a four school meet with Dwight, Seneca, and Watseka at Dwight Country Club on 9/13. Seneca won the meet with a team score of 239 followed by Watseka’s 249. IW and Dwight did not have enough players for a team score. The meet medalist was Adelynn Scharp with a 49. 2nd overall was Dwight’s Sophie Anderson with a score of 50. Other scores for IW were Jaidyn Ashline with a 58 and Jersey Fowler with 60. 

The Iroquois West boys competed in a match with Momence at Aspen Ridge golf course. IW won the match with a score of 172 to 248. Meet medalist honors were shared between IW’s Kyler Meents and Tyler Read with both shooting 42.   Other scores for IW were Kamden Kimmel 43,  Collin Tilstra 45, Evan Izquierdo 47, and Gannon Schnurr 47.
