The IWHS Scholastic Bowl team finished 3rd in last night’s SVC Conference Tournament. Julia Baruffi was named 1st Team Conference, Ivan Munoz – 2nd team and John Ahlden was honorable Mention. Julia also placed 1st in Conference Toss Ups, answering 113 toss up questions this season.
Anyone who missed SAT class on Wednesday needs to meet in Ms. DeFauw’s room during homeroom today.
The Freshman class is having a Shoe Collection Drive through April 30. Anyone can help by donating gently worn, used or new shoes. All shoes will be donated to impoverished people in countries such as Haiti, Honduras and other nations in Central America and Africa. There are donation boxes in Ms. Eighner’s room, the Gilman Post Office and the Gilman-Danforth Library.
Anyone attending Post Prom MUST sign up during lunch on Monday or Tuesday.
It is not too late to sign up to work at the GES carnival on Friday, March 13th, volunteer sheets need to be turned in today.
