On Thursday, March 12, the NHS will host a Red Cross Blood Drive in the high school gym. If you’re 16 or older, please consider donating! NHS members will be in the hall during the lunch hours next week to answer your questions and book appointments.
Any current Junior girl who is interested in attending Girls State this summer, please plan to attend a meeting on March 4 during homeroom. You will receive information about the program and an application at this meeting.
There will be a lifeguard meeting on Saturday at 10:00 at the village hall in Onarga for anyone interested in being a lifeguard at the Onarga Pool this year. Call 815-268-7490 if you have questions.

The Rifle Club would like to invite any interested staff to attend a fun, informative and hands-on event hosted by the Rifle Club. Ever wonder what we do? What the primary tenets of competitive rifle shooting are? Then come to the “Old Jim” Miller Range and multi-purpose room on Thursday March 12th at 7pm. There will be a thorough safety session, brief instruction, followed by some practice. All skill-levels, ages and positive-learning-attitudes are welcome. Please sign-up in the office or by email.
