Congratulations
to the IWHS Math Team for taking 4th place out of 10 schools in their division
at the math competition on Saturday!! Students earned 3rd place finishes in the
Calculator, Algebra I and Algebra II competitions. A special shout out to Julia
Baruffi and Morgan Connor for placing 2nd in the Oral competition, Adriana
Schroeder and Kaleb Phiefer for placing 2nd and 4th overall in the Algebra II
individual competition and Ivan Munoz for placing 3rd overall in the Geometry
individual competition. Way to go, Raiders!
Last week Iroquois West High School had 233 students with perfect attendance. Thanks to all those students for coming to school. The winners of the perfect attendance awards are Cesar Tapia and Pamela Garcia. Congratulations to our winners. Please come down and get your awards.
There will be a lifeguard meeting at the village hall in Onarga on Saturday, Feb. 29 for anyone interested in being a lifeguard this year. Call 815-268-7490 if you cannot make it or have further questions.
