The following students auditioned for the ILMEA Festival. Congratulations to Alyssa Clark for advancing in concert band and Lucas Alvarez, Morgan Connor, Peyton Daniel, Zane Eldert and Madyson Hull for advancing in concert choir. These students will now perform at the ILMEA Festival at Olivet Nazarene University in November. Great job!!!!!!
Our Raider Soccer team had a great victory over Momence last night in the first round of Regional play. They now advance to the Championship game on Saturday at home at 10:00. Come out and support our team!
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th hour studies hall that are held in the library will go to the cafeteria today. 4th hour study hall will go to Ms. Pickham’s room #306. Ms. Villwock’s 5A study hall will go to the new gym. And if testing is still going at the beginning of 7th hour, that study hall will go to Lachtara’s room #214.
Volunteers are needed to assist with Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 26. Students are asked to meet at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gilman at 8:30 am. They will be given instructions about what parts of the community to canvas to collect food items for the local food pantry. Students should be in teams of 3-4 individuals and include a car and licensed driver. The team collecting the most items will win $50 for their organization. There’s a sign up sheet on the bulletin board outside of Mrs. Miller’s classroom.
There will be no after school tutoring today with Ms. Lachtara.
Today is a 2 hour early out, shortened periods all day.
