GES Book Swap

Summer is almost here! It’s time to stock up for summer reading. On May 28th and May 29th  Iroquois West Elementary will host a children’s Book Swap.

Each family is encouraged to sort through the bookshelves at home to find books that are ready for new homes – books that have been outgrown, previously read, not a favorite…

Books should be appropriate for K-5 readers and be in good condition.

No board books,
golden books
or religious books
please!

For every two books a student brings to the classroom, a coupon will be given. The coupon can be redeemed for one book at the Book Swap.

You don’t have books to donate? That’s okay. Students may also purchase books for only .50.

Any books not “adopted” will go to teachers for their classroom libraries or donated to a charity. Everyone benefits!

It’s a great way to get “new to you” books and keep kids reading this summer.

Books will be collected from May 6-24.
