Happy Birthday:

Fact of the Day:    The song Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer debuted in 1949.  In response to the success of the song, Gene Autry wanted another smash hit.  Writers scrambled in October 1950 to record the song.  The song debuted in early November 1950.  The song??? Frosty the Snowman.  The song was not as iconic as Rudolph but it also created yet another character that we cherish during the Christmas season.
