Boys’ Basketball:  The 7th grade team defeated Limestone last night while the 8th graders lost.   Tonight:  7th and 8th grade home games Vs. Watseka.  7th grade team:  Be ready by 5:00 pm.   8th grade team: Arrive by 5:25 pm. Saturday:  6th grade (only) practice from 9-11 am.  
Cheerleading:   Home Games Vs. Watseka.   You will stay after school with Coach Pankey tonight.  
Wrestling:  Open mat wrestling will take place again on Nov. 21 from 4:00-5:30 pm.   IW Wrestlers must have a current physical on file to attend open mats.   Official practice will begin on Nov. 28 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Nash.  
Girls’ Basketball:  Both the 7th and 8th grade teams defeated the Bats on the road last night!  Congrats!   Tonight:  Practice from 3:30-5:00 pm.   You may stay for the boys home game after practice if you choose.   
Girls’ Volleyball:  There will be a sign up sheet in the lunchroom Today,  Monday, and Tuesday if you are interested in playing volleyball this year.   Practices will start sometime in December after basketball ends.  
Student Council: Our Toys for Tots Drive has kicked off! Please bring in new, unwrapped toys to give to children in need.Holiday Pop Tab Challenge: Starting today through Dec. 14th grade levels will compete to bring in the most pop tabs this holiday season. Bins can be found in the multipurpose/ serving room.  

Special Events at Games:  TONIGHT:  Food pantry night for the Boy’s basketball game.  Anybody who brings a FOOD PANTRY ITEM will get a raffle ticket for Monical’s pizza certificates.  Middle School Raider Rowdies- Wear White for WHITE OUT! 

DC Students: TODAY we will be selling assorted chips and soda during lunch for $1 each.

Lost and FoundThere was a pair of eyeglasses turned in at Tuesday’s game.   Please come to the office if you are missing yours..   Also, the lost and found clothing table will remain by the gym until Friday.  If items aren’t claimed by that time,  they will be donated to Goodwill.  

Art Club:   Will continue Tuesday, Nov. 29  for 7th graders, no meeting Tuesday Nov. 22 before Thanksgiving break!

Fact of the Day:   Here are some wacky laws that appear around the 50 states:  In New Hampshire, it is illegal to pump your own gas.  In New York, it is illegal to take a selfie with a tiger or lion.  In Ohio, you cannot be arrested on July 4 (except if you are on a body of water).  You must be 18 years or older to play pinball in South Carolina.  & In Virginia, it is illegal to kill rodents before 1pm or after sunset on Sundays.  However, you may keep hunting racoons until 2 am on Sundays.  

Homework Club:  Students, Tuesdays & Thursdays we will host Homework club from after school to 4PM.  This will be hosted in Mrs. Gorbett’s room.
