Track:    Congrats to the 8th Grade Boys on bringing home 1st place in yesterday’s Iroquois County Track Meet, and to the 8th Grade Girls for bringing home 3rd place!   Christian Gaytan is the new 8th Grade Boys’ 200 meter dash record holder!  He broke Jacob Connor’s(2013)  previous record of 24.51 seconds with a time of 24.09 seconds!    Tonight:  Practice after school until 5:00 pm (at Nexus)for State Qualifiers.    
8th Grade Cheerleading:   If you are interested in High School Cheerleading, there is a required open gym on May 17 from 4:30-6:00 pm at the High School.  Try-Outs are May 19 at 4:30 pm at the High School.   
8th Grade Volleyball:   There will be a meeting in the gym with Coach Milkowski and Coach Toohill TOMORROW  (May 11) from 8:30-8:50 am for girls interested in playing HS Volleyball next year.  
MS  Cheerleading: The next practice/prep for upcoming try-outs is Wednesday May 11 from 5:30-7:30 pm at IWMS. 
Student Council: Last day to bring in pop tabs is Thursday May 12th!  Who will come out on top? 

Locker Rocker:   Your parents/guardians will need to fill out an online waiver by Thursday and you will need to bring in $12 by Thursday if you plan to go to Elevate!  If you would like to see your point total, please check with your Advisory teacher this morning or see Mr. Kimmel ASAP.  

Art club: 8th grade art club will meet TODAY  (Tuesday May 10)  until 4:30pm.

Summer Sports Camps:   There are forms on the blue cart in the lunchroom  if you plan to attend the Iroquois West Basketball or Soccer Camps this Summer.   Please pick up a form to bring home if you plan to go!    

Yearbook Forms:   Money and order forms need to be turned in by May 20 if you plan to order one 🙂 

Music: If you attended BOTH Organizational AND our Spring Concert, there will be a pizza party for you during your lunch period on Wednesday, May 11. Please plan on bringing your own drink for the party. Thank you for your commitment and dedication to our performances!
