Cheerleading:  None today, but 8th Grade Regional game tomorrow at Bishop McNamara.  Bus time:  9:00 am.  
Boys’ Basketball:  8th grade:  had morning practice today.   Tomorrow:  IESA Regional game Vs. St. George at Bishop McNamara at 11:15 am.   Bus Time:  9:00 am from Onarga.    
6th/7th graders:  please turn in WASHED uniforms, warm-up jerseys, and practice jerseys to Mr. Kimmel or Coach Sheehan ASAP.  All 4 items are needed! 
Wrestling:  Practice from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.   Meet Tomorrow at Shelbyville.  Bus Time:  5:30 am 
Girls’ Volleyball: The 6th graders lost 2 sets and 1 one won last night Vs. Watseka, while the 7th and 8th grade both lost in two sets.    6th, 7th, and 8th grade practice after school until 5:00 pm tonight.   
Art Club:   Next Tuesday will be 7th Grade!   
Friday Night MS Hang-Out at the Garage.   6-8 pm tonight!    Campus Life:  Monday night from 6:30 -8:00 pm at the Garage!  Come check it out!

Mr. Rogers Morning Bus from Gilman:  Due to volume problems at the railroad tracks and loud songs being played from devices, your cell phones should be turned off on this morning trip.  If there are more issues reported by Mr. Rogers, the bus video will be watched and violators will have consequences.  Safety first.

Valentine Day Cards:  Students, remember that Valentine’s Day cards for Seniors are due to Mr. Kimmel TODAY! They will be distributed to Prairieview Nursing Home in Danforth by Mrs. Emerson.   Very well done!  

Jazz Band:  No jazz band until next week.   

Fact of the Day:  Here is yet another round of wacky state laws:  In New Hampshire, using a fictitious name at a hotel will get you into some trouble.  Pretending to be a preacher in Alabama will get you into some hot water.   If your Bingo game goes over 5 hours, in North Carolina, your prize could be getting a fine.  All alcohol sales are banned in Florida during a hurricane.  And silly string is banned in Southington, Connecticut since 1996…there has to be a story there!!!
