There will NOT be contact days for Girls’ Basketball or 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball on Tuesday due to Election Day and No School!  These two sports will begin on Thursday Nov. 5!

Raider Run:  Will be held today!   At 12:33 pm students that qualify will report to the gym.   Students that did not qualify will report to the library!   It looks like it will be a great day to get outside and get some exercise!

Election Day: Election Day is Monday Nov 2nd during your lunches. The 7th grade has petitioned for a third party candidate to run for Best Actor at IWMS. Debby Ryan is now in the race. She is an actress that starred in Disney Channel’s show “Jessie!” The race is on for the best actor at IWMS. Make your voice heard on Monday when you head to the polls. Don’t forget you’re also voting for the movie we watch before Winter Break. Every vote counts!

Fact of the Day: The first Jack-O-Lanterns were carved out of turnips and potatoes.  Should have been beets.  In terms of holidays, each American family spends approximately $100 on Halloween.  With that said, it is the 2nd most economically boosting holiday besides Christmas…duh!!!
